We attended this tournament in April and unfortunately the weather was not on our side. It rained for three days and the courts stayed very wet, which made the playing conditions quite difficult and not very enjoyable.
The umpires were the coaches of the club, something we didn’t find ideal, especially when matches were played against their own club players. The locker rooms were also quite small and often dirty, with limited space for participants.
The city itself is quite expensive, both for accommodation and for eating out. For anyone looking to save money, coming with a camper is probably the best option.
A very positive note goes to the club director, Alessandro, who was extremely kind and helpful. He arranged training sessions at another club without any issues—at an extra cost, of course—but everything was handled efficiently and professionally.
One last piece of advice for anyone visiting: make sure to really stick to 30 km/h when driving. There are cameras everywhere… better to avoid any unpleasant surprises!
